Oxford gig this Friday

POST GIG ANALYSIS: Late start due to heavy support, fair-to-middling sweaty, good passes between C and D, small but appreciative crowd, bad jokes, commendable use of circuit-bent megaphone. A not happy about trashed kit; he will kill again - support acts beware. Up and on.

'Ello peeps

We have a gig on Friday and it would be nice to see you, to see you nice. We'll be playing a selection of songs from 'Oliver!', 'The Sound of Music' and 'Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'.

I wish... No, unfortunately it'll be the same old kick-arse face-melting rock'n'roll we do at every show. My night as Nancy will have to wait.

Friday 13th of June, The Wheatsheaf Pub, Oxford, off the High Street. We're on about 10pm and there's some support bands to enjoy/ignore.

See you Friday.

preeesenting...The new Harry Angel website

Thanks to the twisted artistic genius of Nick Ainley and the formidable web skills of Simon Minter, we have a spanking new website! There's the usual photos, reviews and gig listings BUT WAIT you can now order CDs and there's a link to our iTunes releases. Tres groovy, n'est ce-pas? Both Nick and Simon have their own sites and you should check them out - Nick's is www.shinybinary.com and features eye candy galore, Simon's is www.nineteenpoint.com.

So, what news do we have for you? We've been having a fun time with gigs lately. There's one coming up soon: Saturday 26th April at The Purple Turtle, Oxford. Headline slot for us I think, but get down early and enjoy the cheapo drink prices. I know I will.

Other than that, the recording of the fabled New Harry Angel EP is continuing... slowly... And we're trying to bag a slot at Cowley Road Carnival on 6th July 2008 which is always a lovely day out. Thrill at the assembled Oxford Music Scene looking pasty and sick in shorts and t-shirts!

Cheers all, til next time...
